It started with an online store, where people can order electrical items. But is evolving into something more than that: it is a community, with interactions and relationships.
Especially with our new website that is fully mobile responsive (try it for yourself) and the Ask a Question and Write a Review functions, there’s much more stuff going on around and related to our website. We love it, and we really appreciate all the feedback the customers give us.
Where Are Our Customers From?
Not sure whether the confidentiality of “where are our customers from” is protected by the Data Protection act, but we were thinking to post some pictures of some of the areas where our customers are from.
There’s no name, no specific post code, no personal details – it is just a token of appreciation and remembrance of where they are from. When we check on the map where people are from when they visit us and order at sparksdirect.co.uk we are amazed – they are from all over the UK!
We have therefore compiled a few places 🙂 with a few more representative pictures around those places. In other words, Let’s Visit England Together!
London – The Strand – Central West London. Lovely area, a bit crowded. Here’s a photo from the old days, taken in Soho, UK. Source: The Strand.
Customers from the Highlands: somewhere in the Isles of Skye – not just Scotland, but a bit North West from Scotland. Wow! Source: Ben Aketil, Enercon turbine.
Some customers from Maidstone, Kent – South East, somewhere mid-way between London and Cantembury. We found a picture for, St. Francis Catholic church – Maidstone.
There’s a bunch of people who ordered also from Derby, a city in the East Midlands – lying on the banks of the river Derwent, in the south of Derbyshire. Photo: Jury’s Inn.
Disclaimer and Apologies
We apologize for the quality of the pictures. They are not our pictures – each one has the source link included. This blog post is NOT to promote these places, neither to comprehensively point out where in the UK do people visit us and order on our website.
It is just a test, a tryout, an attempt to see: where are some of our customers from? We apologize we didn’t post the most representative pictures for these areas, but we like to play with google maps. And…. thank you, a big thank you to all visitors and customers!
